, I could accomplish 3 things: 1) create an easy pass-through from the information to a good source for obtaining the disc; 2) generate commissions for the links; and 3) use those commissions to create a linkage from the sale of the discs to the charities favored by Bruce Springsteen.In mid-November, 2005, I established the association with amazon.com. On a quarterly basis, I will be selecting a charity listed on the charities page. That charity will receive all commissions generated from the discography page, as well as a personal match up to the amount of the commissions. In April, 2006, I added a new section to the site, The Songs of the Seeger Sessions. Any sales generated from that page will also be included in the totals, starting with Q2 2006. The following table shows the charities and the generated/donated amounts, to date.
If you wish to participate, all you need to do is go the discography page on your way to amazon, click any of the amazon.com icon links on that page, and do your shopping as you normally would.
